SAMANTHA SLATON | National Political Director

Samantha is a seasoned political strategist with over a decade of experience leading and scaling effective electoral campaigns at the state legislative, congressional, and presidential levels. She brings deep expertise in field operations, team leadership, data-driven strategy, and voter protection. Passionate about bridging strategy and execution, Samantha builds high-performing teams that return quality voter contact impacts at scale.

In 2025, Samantha was part of the inaugural LOFT Fellowship, a year-long executive education program for political professionals with Georgetown University. In 2024, she served as National Organizing Director at the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, where she designed the national voter contact program, advised state-level organizing directors, and developed systems for tracking and analyzing organizing data. She also led the DLCC’s voter protection efforts, aligning legal strategy, field execution, and national coordination to safeguard voting access.

Samantha attended the University of Chicago for her undergraduate degree, and studied sociology and human rights during her time there. As part of the LOFT program, she also holds Executive Education certificates from both Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Samantha lives with her partner Raymond in Washington, DC, and in her free time enjoys cooking, interior decorating, and trying to keep up with her Book of the Month.
